Do any of you lovelies belong to a Mom Group or have get togethers?

LB really loves other kids, even when they are older than her and I would love to get together.  We are joining the little gym of fishkill in the fall, but for the summer, just figured we would keep it low key.

What is the little gym of fishkill? I'm in fishkill and am not familiar with activities for kids around here. I'd love to attend some get togethers if you hear of any.

I'm from Newburgh, but don't really know of anything since K and I stick mostly to Middletown during the week.  Maybe we can start having a monthly breakfast/coffee or something.

I'm off (some weekends), but rarely during the week.

The little gym is an awesome program. There is one listed in east fishkill/hopewell junction.   I worked at one for a few years in college and saw amazing results with children first hand.  They have 1 hour classes for kids ages 4 months-13 years.  Ages 4months-3 years are parent/kid classes. 

The classes are slightly different for each age group but all center around building fine & gross motor skills, self esteem, and social interactions.  They are a gym and have mats, bars, beams, vaults..etc.  For the younger kids they have bubble time, ball time, play with bells, sing songs and interact with each other.  It is structured, but structured loosely.  It really is a wonderful program.

awesome! I'll have to look into that more! Definitely something I'd be interested in doing with the little one this winter.

I am part of a meetup group, but we are more in the orange county area. It is called sugar bears and you can find it on meetup.com. They have great get togethers for both mommies and kids. There is also musical munchkins in Cornwall. E loves that! If you do breakfasts, count me in.

I would do something in East Fishkill/Hopewell I am right around the corner.  Can you send me info on that Little Gym.  I will need to keep Jack extra occupied when this baby comes.  Thanks hun!
