AW: canvas!

I got a livingsocial offer yesterday for a canvas from Image Canvas. It was perfect timing since I was just thinking about this a few days ago. And we got a late wedding gift of cash yesterday so I knew we had a little to spend. I bought the deal but haven't ordered the canvas yet. It's going to be so hard to choose a picture! But I definitely think I'm going to do a B&W. OK, that's all. Just wanted to share!

That's awesome! B&W always looks great large. I did a nice B&W of a family photo for a friend as a 16x20 and it looks amazing over their mantle.

Sweet, Kelly has a photo of hers in her blog I think, hers turned out really nice. Makes me wanna get one too (in the future). Post a pic when it arrives.

Awesome!! I love the perfect timing moments!  We're going to get some a couple in a couple months probably. We need to make sure the wedding is paid off and we have renters in DH's house.  But I'm so excited for it!  I'm thinking I may even just do some ocean ones as decoration too!  DH's BM took some ridic photos and edited them so we'd use those.

Thank you for all the enthusiasm, ladies! Yes, I totally opened up Kelly's blog, and showed the pictures to DH because he had no idea what a "canvas" hanging was like. I said, oh yeah, this is my friend who got married the same day as us, by the way! Kelly's looked so good in color that I am toying with that idea too.

 

The other reason I'm toying is because our photog only did some select photos of ours in both color and B&W. Does anyone know if the original file you upload for the canvas has to be in B&W if you want B&W, or can you upload a color photo and select B&W printing?

With the one I got you could add different effects if you wanted and BW was an option.  I would go to the website and play around with what they offer.
