Long shot- New Birth Certificates and Govn't Shutdown

I am currently on hold with Hennepin County to see if they can give me any info, I thought I would ask here.

Anyone know the status of new birth certificates during the shutdown?  Our little girl was born June 30 and the hospital was less than helpful about information regarding the birth certificate.  We did fill out all the paperwork.

Ok, they are being handled by the counties and are listed as essential for the public.

Believe they are through counties. I know after DD was born, I received a printed form confirming all the information. I could either sign and mail or bring it to the government center. Since I live in Dakota County/Hastings, I took it in. I can't remember how much it was to get a certified copy. It think it was around $30.

I love your DD name. : ). I have a Mollie too. She is named after her great grandma. Her full name was Amalia and went by Mollie. I loved both names.
