Hey everyone,
I was planning on going to the Muny on Thursday night and was wanting to sit in the free seats. Has any one done that lately? What time do you think I should get there. The past few times we have gone we have bought tickets, so I'm not sure.
TIA!

Re: Muny Free Seats
When DH and I do free seats at the Muny we usually get there by 6:50 or so. The free seats open at 7pm and there was a line of 150+ people when we went for Legally Blond. Since you're going the last night of the show, I don't know if that will be more or less crowded.
HTH!
So, not that it's really important anymore, but just a funny story:
When we got to the Muny on this night at 6:15 it was already PACKED! I couldn't believe it. There were tons of little girls dressed up and families having picnics. We looked at the line and decided we probably wouldn't get tickets so we went ahead and bought the $10 seats. I was with my sister, and we think it was because it was the last night of the show, plus it was a family event (who doesn't like Disney?). I am going with my SO to see "Little Shop of Horrors" next week and we're going to try the free seats out again. I'm thinking your time estimates will be very appropriate for that show.
Thanks ladies!
Z-O-U!
