Following up on evites: OCD or understandable?

I sent FB evites for this coming Sunday's dinner this past Sunday.  The folks I expected to come clicked yes almost immediately.  There are a few people who had told me a couple weeks ago when I first mentioned it that they absolutely wanted to come and to let them know.  They haven't responded and I know they've been on FB.  FB evites can be glitchy, so do I follow up with them or not?

(This post is really just our usual RSVP vent in disguise, except there's really no excuse with evites since it's just clicking yes, no or maybe.  How hard is that?)

Can you be a little backhanded and post something like "waiting to see who's coming to the party!"  or planning my party. 

Honestly though if they haven't replied I don't think there's anything wrong with just sending a quick fb message.

I always resist bugging people who don't respond because knowing them (i.e. my sister!), I'm pretty certain it's just their way of saying "no" without saying it. Super annoying. That said, it's not horrible to follow up. I just assume no answer = no.

Either post a follow up to remind people of when the reply date is or follow up with them.

Follow up, they may not have checked Facebook, or the email link. I know sometimes friends have sent them to an old address for me so I have not gotten them. I would double check.
