Need OB in Portland/Freeport area
Any recs for an OB in the Portland/Freeport area? We are relocating from PA in a few weeks, and I just found out I'm preg w/ baby #2!
Re: Need OB in Portland/Freeport area
Welcome and congrats!!
When I lived in Portland I used Generations in Portland. I think my Dr's name was Carolyn Hodson. I really liked her and that practice.
I saw Dr. Carol Vaughan (a woman) at Generations at Portland and loved her. I chose Generations because they deliver at both Maine Med and Mercy, and I had no clue at 6 weeks where I wanted to deliver. The whole Generations staff was great; I saw a lot of the doctors during my 36+ hour labor and c/s and they were all super.
Congrats on #2 and on choosing a great state to live!
I second Coastal Women's. My OB is Dr. Fitzgerald and I am happy thus far!
So excited to meet Peanut this fall!
*Outdated* Wedding Bio
We live in King of Prussia. My husband is from PA, but I grew up in NH and spent summers on Vinalhaven. We'll be living in Yarmouth initially while we look for a house.
I had some complications with my first pregnancy (hospitalized bed rest), and will most likely opt to deliver at Maine Med. I looked around for doctor reviews on the web and the docs at Generations all were recommended.
Thanks for your help ladies! Looking forward to being a Mainah soon!
