Hi my name is Annie and...

I have a fabric addiction. We are reorganizing my studio to make room for some kids stuff in there (major sad face) and I bought some comic book boards as bolts like here: http://smashedpeasandcarrots.blogspot.com/2010/11/mini-fabric-bolts-and-some-studio.html. Well I bought 2 packages of 100 thinking that would be way more than enough. I need another 100. This problem is way worse than I though.

My fabric looks so pretty all neatly organized. I just want to sit in there and daydream about projects. My husband suggested to save space we put my fabric in tubs in the cold unfinished basement. It makes me sad to think of them all lonely and cold locked away in tubs.

Re: Hi my name is Annie and...

  • That is so sad.

Aren't basements damp?  That wouldn't be good for your fabric.  It really should stay in a climate controlled environment...right? Wink

  • It would be really bad for my fabric! It makes my heart hurt to think I couldn't glance at it when ever I wanted.

  • I just looked at your studio- that is like my dream.  My fabric stash is super super pitiful compared to the mini bolts of lovliness you have.  I would definitely request that it all stays upstairs- after all, it is so neatly organized and makes for a decoration in and of itself.
