So our babysitter for next weekend backed out and we do not have a backup for that weekend...my thoughts were, okay, we can change our anniversary dinner (we haven't had a babysitter/date since MARCH) and go to the Melting Pot, Anders would love it. Yeah, they closed...LAST YEAR. So now we are hunting for a good place to go for dinner that will seem nice, but not too nice to bring a kid to. Oh yeah, and we have to eat by 4:30, Anders goes to bed at 5 (we can push it to 5:30 if we try). Lunch is not an option-Sean is at the office on Saturday for a meeting and most places here are closed on Sunday for lunch, and our babysitter is OOT for the weekend. And we cannot do anything on our actual anniversary-Sean is supposed to be out of town.
And, it all seems much worse because I didn't sleep last night (Sean was rolling all over the place and putting his knee in my back), Anders woke up at 4 to snuggle (which he hasn't done since he was about 4 months old) and I'm the only one at the office-no clue where my co-workers are. Not a bad thing, but I have nothing to do for the next 5 hours. Nothing at all. and if I go home, our AC is off because it is being worked on, and it's about 89 and humid today.

Re: what anniversary dinner-vent
I think we are going to stay home, but the next weekend Sean is OOT as well...so maybe sometime in August we will get to it!
Everything just seems worse when you're overtired.
That all sounds really frustrating.
If I lived near you I would totes babysit for you so you and S could go out and celebrate your anniversary.
