What is your overnight diaper solution? Eli is a heavy wetter big time. He is also huge! 31lbs and 32inches do you think the KaWaii overnights would work for him with some hemp in there too?
Thanks!

Re: Meghan & Tara
I struggle with overnight too. Parker is a heavy wetter too. Right now the only thing that will hold him and not smell too bad is a hemp insert closest to his skin, then a prefold, then a microfiber insert (all in a regular pocket diaper). It is HUGE! I hate it, but I don't know what else to do. I'm going to a diaper swap Saturday to hopefully get some other options to try.
The hemp insert doesn't seem to hold much of anything.
He is huge!!! Yay for big babies (well, almost toddlers now!)
Anders was wetting through EVERYTHING and we found that a Kawaii overnight with 2 Kawaii Bamboo and 1 microfiber (closest to the skin) works like a charm. We had a few leak issues at first, but after I truly prepped the bamboo and it was washed about 5 times, it worked like a charm. I'm gonna say our overnight solution from Kawaii was like $77 bucks??? We ordered a set of their bamboo inserts (set of 10) and 7 of the shells. If I had to do the whole thing again, I would order 2 sets of liners and 5 shells to meet their shipping requirements. I love using the bamboo in my regular pockets, it just takes a long time to dry. Also, since Kawaii was low stocked I ordered all the same print, which helps when we are trying to grab one on the quick. You can also get Kawaii brand new on eBay!
FWIW, it works for Anders, and some times he will drink 15 oz before bed without being changed before going down an it holds. The kid loves milk. My pocketbook does not love his thirst.
Thanks girls! Eli is still nursing and nurses before bed and 2 times during the night so needless to say he drinks a lot. oh and i ordered KaWaii's off of
www.jackbenatural.com
they have free shipping on orders of any size.
bamboo and hemp are usually pretty thin. they seem to be about the same thickness so i think thinner than a prefold or microfiber.
E has a fluffy butt tonight... here's to hoping we don't have to change sheets in the morning.
They aren't tha big, but all 3 do make for a big bum. Anders sleeps in just a diaper or some Gap Jammies (2 piece). He's a size 2T right now, so we aren't really doing onesies. I only use the 3 overnight, if we used bamboo during the day, our diapers would actually be skinnier than they are with the micro.
