I'm actually jealous of the Nesties who have the chance to go apple picking, go to pumpkin patches in nice cool weather, who get to see the leaves change...BAH!

Only 11 more years until we move.  :P

I couldn't disagree more! I'm up in Michigan visiting family, and I've been able to do all the "northern" stuff with my son like go to the apple orchard, pumpkin patch, petting farm, and jumping in the leaves. It was fun, in part to the fantastic 70 degree weather that came out of no where. But I can not wait to get home to the FL weather! Everyone is always sick up here due to the changing of the seasons. Yuck. The 22 years I spent in the north is enough for me. Bring on the sun, sand, and warm weather!!

I agree. I appreciate FL weather to a point, but I also really would like to experience all FOUR seasons! We are currently looking for acreage in western NC to purchase while we're waiting out for the market in FL to eventually go back up. Then we'll sell here and will build a house on the property. I can't wait.

I'm so with you. I'm from PA and I miss the real fall so much. And I despise the summers here. I've been looking online to see if there's a way to make a quickie road trip to GA or SC or NC to see foliage.

BTW- I was not around when your DS arrived, so I have not congratulated you yet. Congratulations, he's beautiful!!!

Today IS beautiful!  I got to experience it at 2 in the morning, though.  Our next door neighbors had some loud ass party that lasted until 5 a.m. and it not only woke me up, but it woke up the baby.  NICE!  But I went outside to see what was going on and it was soooo nice to feel cool air.

I agree it is too hot here.  I was happy to see such nice weather today finally.  I am going to NY on Thursday for a long weekend so I am looking forward to the fall weather and the leaves!

can't wait for it to get a little cooler - i love when it is "sweater weather" all day long, not just at night :-( but itll get here soon enough...then you will remember why people love FLorida weather

Bah....this cold weather is for the birds. ?I moved to Florida to get away from the cold. ?I want to wear shorts, tank tops and flip flops 12 months out of the year and NOT be cold in them.
