Happy Friday!

I got up early this morning so I feel like my Friday is already off to a good start.  We are having a doggie playdate with friends tomorrow morning, and then dinner with some other friends Saturday night.  What is everyone else up to?

    LIKE!

We have a bbq to go to tomorrow, then work in the basement (mostly for DH). I was hoping we could to go kayaking on the lake Sunday but there's a triathlon so I'm not sure if/when they will let the general public on the lake.

We're heading to Maine tomorrow morning for the weekend-- DH doesn't fly in until early evening and by the time he gets home from the airport, he won't want to keep driving to Maine... so we'll wake up early. I am just thrilled today is Friday!
  • And what a gorgeous Friday it is!

I think I'll try to go to volleyball today after work, despite my various injuries.  Some sun, exercise, and friends sound heavenly right now.

Tomorrow we're hanging out with my family and going to some street fair in Wellesley.

I don't think we have any plans for Sunday.

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

    Super exciting!

  • Good luck, MrsT! The anatomy scan was my favorite u/s. And I had a lot of them- I think I had 8 total over the course of my pregnancy.

We have nothing huge planned this weekend. DH has summer hours at his office, so he'll be home around 1 today, and our only real plans are my mother having us all over on Sunday (which is always a toss up as to how that will be).

     Ooo .. Good luck!

Today we'll be working on the kids playroom/ train room in the basement.  We're hoping to have most of it done before my family comes to visit next week.  The walls are up and painted and we started the ceiling yesterday so it's coming along.

Saturday we're going out to the Glasgow Lands Scottish Games to see friends from VA.  One of them is participating in the games so we're going to watch and they have a daughter that is only a few weeks younger than Lil so we'll be chasing the 2 of them around all day.

Sunday we'll be doing some touristy stuff with our friends. We'll probably drive along the coast in NH and part of ME and see what there is to see.  We don't really have many plans for places to stop, we'll just make it up as we go and see cool things.

  • Good luck, Mrs. T!

I'm also looking forward to spending some time outside.  I have plans to bike the Minuteman Bike Path and to hit up ArtBeat (an art & musical festival in Davis Sq.).

  • Good luck, Mrs. T!

We've got the day off, because we're getting our new bed today. I'm so excited. I can't wait to not feel like a 80 year old woman when I get up.  Tomorrow morning, we're going to see Harry Potter, then grab a slice and some gelato in the North End.  No plans for Sunday, so it'll be a half-busy, half-lazy weekend.

Mrs. T, good luck and have fun!

ead, enjoy your new mattress!  We've had ours for a week now and I am in love with it.  They say it can take up to 30 days to get used to a new mattress, but it took me 3 seconds.  The delivery was super easy, too.

I'm hoping to spend lots of time outside this weekend.  We're going to a BBQ on Saturday.  Sunday maybe we will do some cleanup work in our front yard.  Our first straightneck squash is almost ready to be picked, so I am making big plans to cook it on Sunday.  Ha.

  • GL at the anatomy scan, MrsT.

DS has a play group later. It's pouring out, we were supposed to do it at the pool but now we're moving it inside.

We are going to Charlotte in the morning for an overnight trip. DH is doing the NASCAR racing experience (where he gets to drive a NASCAR around the track and everything) so we are making a little trip out of it.
