Whatcha got, ladies?
AW: I finished a 3-hour grad course in 7 days, and I got an A. Only two more weeks, 6 more hours of classes, a theory comprehensive exam next week, and I can wash my hands of my M.M. I am so ready to be done.
FFFC: I don't feel I really learned anything all that useful getting my M.M., except that I am a lot smarter than I previously gave myself credit for. My newly inflated ego might end up biting me in the end.

Re: FFFC/AW Friday!
FFFC: Tuesday is the birthday of the owner of the company I work for. The employees pitch in and buy him a big gift each year. They sent out an email a couple days ago saying "If everyone could give $X, we will be able to get him X gift." In previous years, the money collector has kept a list of people who give money. And supposedly, the owner sees this list and if you don't pitch in it could affect your Christmas bonus. I don't think I'm going to pitch in this year. We're about to go on vacation and we're trying to save for some spending money.
AW:
- We leave for Colorado in 6 days. I cannot wait! We'll be there for 10 days. I'm really looking forward to the 70? temps.
- My jeans are usually super tight right after I wash them. I put on my just-washed-jeans this morning and they aren't tight! They're actually a little loose! And my loose-jeans motivated me to not eat donuts that someone brought to work this morning

The horse I ride is for sale.
I am so, so attached to this animal, and I don't know yet if buying him will be in the cards, though it's something I'm pursuing. Plus rumor has it someone else is interested in buying him too (which if that's the case, I've been stabbed in the back and there will be heII to pay). I'm having a really hard time dealing with the fact that there's a good chance I'm going to have to say goodbye, and I feel like a whiny little brat because I know so many other people who are going through things so much worse than me worrying over a frickin' pony.

We had to change our anniversary trip to the FP from November to March because my ex-employer asked me too. I was kind of p!ssed but then a really good friend of ours announced his engagement - and they are getting married when we planned to be gone - and asked DH and I to be in the wedding so, changing the trip worked out.
We have no other trips planned until March so I have been belly aching around about it. We were going to go to the Bahamas but someone dragged his feet on calling our TA back and the price increased $350 or something like that - no way.
DH came home for lunch on Wednesday and announced we are going to Aruba over Thanksgiving. That is where we went on our honeymoon (and our first anniversary) so I am super pumped up.
HOLY CRAP! CONGRATS!!!!!!
Congratulations!!

FFFC: Just got back from our vacation in New England, which was fabulous. We stayed all nine days with H's aunt and uncle. I like them SO much more than my ILs! My MIL is a very tough person to get along with, and I just love her sister. I found myself wishing we could switch ILs quite a bit over the trip. :-/
FFFC #2: I got a horrendous sunburn on the beach in Maine last week. Like, my entire stomach peeled off in giant sheets the other day. I feel like such an idiot for not re-applying sunscreen enough. I'm the palest of the pale, I should know better.
(FWIW, despite my confessions, we had a GREAT trip!)
I called the police on a lady today that was in the bank line next to me. She was driving a VW bug, and she had two kids under the age of three strapped in her front seat with a seat belt. No car seats. One looked to be maybe two...the other around B's age. The police had me follow her from the bank until they pulled her over. (And it happened to be as she was about to get on the Turnpike). I really wish people would put their kids first instead of doing something dumb when they're in a hurry.
Good for you! You are helping to right all sorts of wrongs in the world this week! I would have done the same thing.
Congratulations, Jamie! He is beautiful!
Congrats! I think you get the biggest AW this week!
Congrats Jamie! Yay!
FFFC: I hate when I'm at a hotel pool trying to savor some peace and quiet and then parents let their kids use the hot tub as a swimming pool. I want some adult relax time and I don't saunter over to your designated kiddy area, so back off buddy! I'm sure the little shivers you give with the temperature changes when you run back and forth between the pool and hot tub means you've left a nice pee present for us to enjoy.
AW: I used the heavier zumba sticks at all the sessions this week. My arms are sore, but I can tell they are getting more toned. DH is noticing as well.
Definitely! Congrats!
Congratulations, Jamie!!!
Far less AW-worthy, I got a $240 silk dress for $30. It's similar to one I saw in a store and could not seriously consider because it was over $100. I'm pleased as punch with my find and delighted that I waited for something more within my budget.
Yay! Congrats!
Good luck!! Glad you're feeling good about this decision.
