Anybody up to anything exciting?
This afternoon, my mission is to have our labor-intensive dinner (baja chicken tacos) ready for when DH gets home, since he is already tired and wants a haircut tonight (he does most of it himself, I help with some of it).
Tomorrow we're going to check out a big yard sale in search of the free firewood listed, and probably will also end up with a back seat full of stuff for the little man. Although paying $500 for a muffler for my car on Wednesday put a damper on my desire to spend money right now. Then we're going to a picnic in Pawtuxet Village with some ladies I met at the Kent County Hospital breastfeeding support group, and at least 1 new person since we started a meetup group! (for those interested, it's called Rhode Island Working Parents, and we're aiming to have regular weekend or weeknight activities for families, not just moms/babies).
No plans so far for Sunday, probably the usual laundry and grocery shopping.
Re: Weekend plans?
Tonight is homemade pizza night and hopefully watching last week's True Blood if I can stay awake with this migraine long enough.
Tomorrow we are driving the two of us, 3 teenagers, and my 2 kids into the city for the day. Last day in the city for the teenagers who have been here since Tuesday.
Sunday - NOTHING. Home, laundry, cleaning, relaxing.

Tonight... figuring out dinner. I have corn on the cob, but am not sure what I'd even want to make with it, and haven't taken anything out. Might have DH pick up sushi on his way home!
Tomorrow... Shannon's last swim lesson of the summer. Maybe a trip to a meat market for some steak, and grilling that evening. If it's too hot, DH might take Shannon to her first ever movie in the theater, the new Winnie the Pooh movie!!
Sunday... church, and then to my sister's for a dip in the pool.
Monday... Shannon is going to Vacation Bible School for the week through our church. Her first "camp" experience!!
Tonight we are just hanging in. Christian has swimming lessons from 6-7 so after that it's just chill out. Tomorrow I am going to do my long run in the morning and just hang out with the IL's who will be here watching the kids so I can run and Brent can ride his quad 4 wheeler thingy.
Sunday...probably just yard work, errands. I still need to get curtains and decorations for G's new big girl room.
Have a great weekend, ladies!
You're looking at it tonight! Rob is working and April is in bed. I went to my parents' for a bit for our usual Friday fish and chips. I should probably be making pasta salad for tomorrow, but I'm just messing around on the computer and watching my DVR'ed True Life.
Tomorrow we have a housewarming party/cookout. I really love the people and don't get to see them enough, so I'm excited.
Sunday we always visit my grandmother. I think we're going to go out to dinner at a local place (Ciro's) to check out their Restaurant Week specials.
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!

Just seeing this now Jill....The owners of Ciro's are good friends of ours and they are closed on Sunday's in the summer, I hope you didn't waste too much time going...
Oh my gosh, your siggy pic is tooooooo adorable! I have another friend that raved about the watermelon beer at beer works, too.
