I thought we found someone to keep our dogs while we are gone. Ive spoken w/ her through e-mail a few times, and once over the phone. Everything seemed fine.
I emailed her Tuesday to let her know we wanted to meet w/ her the end of this week, or beginning of next week... nothing. I left her a message yesterday afternoon.. nothing. I think she is sitting at someone elses house (bc of a email msg that was accidently sent to me instead of the other client).. but dang, she can't return a quick email?
She has yahoo mail, I can see her yahoo messenger thing is signed on (I don't try to IM her..that's weird)..
How long should I give her to return my call or e-mail me back before I say nevermind and do something else.. We leave on July 29th... I prefer to have a definite plan by the end of next week.. well, really today, but I'm trying to be realistic here.
Re: How long before I find someone new
Yah.
the initial plan was hard enough. UGHHHH.. WHY are people SO unreliable..
I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I don't have time for this.
I think I'm going to call her again this afternoon and just say that I wanted to confirm that she still is going to keep the dogs.
Should I say (if I have to leave a msg) that if I don't here back from her by X day then I will have to make other arrangments for Diva & Wyatt?
I think I'll have Chris do it.. yah yah, I'm a chicken.
.......craigslist.
My friend used to pet sit all the time but she just started vet school out of state!
We had someone really good in Port Charlotte when we lived down there if you get desperate.
I've looked at a few sites, but you have to have a paid membership in order to actually contact people.. wtf is the point of a free membership if you can't contact anyone. Makes no sense..
I'm so effing frustrated by this whole process.
