We will now be going A MONTH early for my birthday trip. The week of Labor Day.
DH is now missing Labor Day weekend races he wanted to run in, ALL of my dining reservations are FUBAR'd (Canada is totally gone.
), and instead of being there at the end of Sept we're now there at the beginning, when its more crowded. It won't be a zoo, but there's a damn fine reason I picked the week I did.

That SUCKS! Those dining reservations are so hard to get! You'll have to stalk the Le Cellier reservations website to try to snag one. I'm so sorry!

It's a trick I read about over on Disboards last year about how their reservation system has x # of tables for various-sized parties. They'll say they're full of 2's and 4's, but still have 3's. Damn if it isn't true though - I had to do this for a reservation at O'hana at one point last year. I wound up cancelling it after finally finding a table for 2 at a better time, but I would have totally used the other reservation. You just say your friend couldn't make it when you check in.
ETA - were you able to keep your hotel choice? Where did you pick?

Yes, our hotel was no problem at all. Our reservation went down an entire $4. We can buy half a vinylmations pin now! We're at Port Orleans this time around.
I'm trying to choose our dining plans based on the best Extra Magic Hours.

I love Port Orleans!!!! I love the boat ride to downtown disney. . .although when we were there in January is was freaking freeeeeezing on the boat!!!

Yeah, WDW people are the best. They didn't bat an eye and tried hard to help us get our dining plans back on track.
