The Bow?

Hi ladies

I joined the Bow a few months back. It's definitely a nice community of current and former DW brides, but it's not quite the same as our lovely group

One of the girls on there sent me a message today asking if you guys were planning on joining the Bow. They said that they noticed you guys were still active on TK but hadn't joined and were wondering if there was a particular reason that you didn't?

If you don't want me to share your reasoning, I won't, no worries, but I am curious

I like being a part of the TK DW board, the Bow and our little more exclusive community over here

I technically belong to The Bow but I prefer the format here and the I know the ladies over here much better. 99% of them seem nice but I just don't really know them that well. I also prefer not having so many mini boards it just gets to confusing over there. I am just not a fan. Do you mind me asking who was wondering?

I only know a handful of girls on the bow.  Most of them no longer really check in on DW so no I won't be joining the bow.  I like really like this group and look forward to more knotties coming over.  I would also like to know who was wondering and why not come over here and ask.

We were talking about the DW Babies board and how they closed it to new members and she thought that was kind of crappy and said she created the Bow babies board so newer marrieds would have a place to go when they reached that point. She said she made the board to be inclusive for everyone new DWers and old, and was wondering if you guys wanted to join because you're welcome to. That's all

I couldn't agree more. This is becoming a more comfortable place for me than the DW board even. I'm looking forward to being here as a married in not too long

Ditto! It's nice over here. I have no idea what the bow is, i've heard you mention it here and there but I too don't really want yet another board to check in on. I'm already trying to stay on top of this one, DW and the HI board. That's plenty for me for now Although I would really enjoy a private board where we could talk more freely without people being able to google into it (like bosses?) and there wouldn't be any lurkers. I don't mind lurkers, I guess stalkers would be more appropriate, I get a lil paranoid.

As you know, I am on The Bow. I joined after I got married and I discovered that I do know lots of people there. I really do appreciate having that board as a private place to ask for more personal advice and stuff....I actually really like that. It's like having a panel of a wide demographic of people in all different fields. They are very helpful. But as far as the everyday shooting the breeze type stuff, it's easier to keep up with this group which is a lot smaller and I've gotten to know better. I think that board is just too overstimulating for me and I could spend all day reading posts....but unfortunately I can't. Normally by the time I read through the posts, I don't even have time to comment.

Don't get me wrong, I still love going over and seeing dresses and checks and of course checking on Kayla and some others, but overall it's not the same for me. I really like this board but I am open to seeing others if the ladies are nice How do I get to it?

Haha, I just re-read my post and realized it sounded funny...like "So I may see other boards now..is that ok?" I don't want to cheat on this board!

It's at destinationw.proboards.com and it's private so you need to sign up and let them know who you are on TK.

I totally agree! I think it's a natural part of the process. You aren't alone.

Honestly I just forget about that board. I do think that it can be a little intimidating with all of he new faces over here that I don't know. It's like being the new girl in high school. Don't get me wrong, everyone I've encountered is nice. I just have such an established relationship with you ladies. Our little home is so nice & cozy ;0)

I love this! I feel the same exact way. It's kind of scary going over there now lol. I'm so used to you gals already

I joined the BOW before going away for my wedding but I haven't posted yet. I know lots of the girls over there because I joined TK while they were all getting married right back to back but after they all left and few went back to check on the DW board I got closer to you girls and I feel like I have more things in common with you all. Don't get me wrong those ladies are amazing and super nice, but this is my comfort zone now
