please help!
i just washed and dried some linens, including some dark pink sheets (that I have washed before). The washer and other items look fine, but some dark pink dye transferred to the inside of the dryer.
How do I remove the dye?? And can I use the dryer, or will the dye transfer onto other items? I tried a target brand magic eraser, but it didn't work. I have a wet load of whites that I need to dry. Thanks!!
Re: help! dryer stains
I don't know for sure. I once washed and dried an ink pen though. The whole drier is still blue but none has ever come off on the clothes.
Maybe you could dry one of your unimportant white items (socks, undies) first and see if there is a color transfer before you dry the whole load.
