Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

I-Phone question

If I got a new one, can my old one be a sort of I-touch and be used for games and music.

Re: I-Phone question

  • Yup, but you won't be able to use the 3g, it'd be wi-fi only.
  • It will be a very, very fancy iPod. Big Smile
  • Yep, you'll just need to use Wi-Fi if you want to use certain apps and or data such as the internet.

  • Yes, that's what we do with our 3Gs.  It's pretty much exactly like an iPod Touch - you can play music and use the internet and email, but like the others have said, you need a wireless connection to use them.
