Hi guys! I usually just lurk because I'm in the middle of so many projects. But I need some help. My best friend just recently found out she was pregnant. Today we went to Barnes and Nobles to do some looking around and she came across a type of baby book. Things with "what was your reaction?" "How did you tell people" and so on. She didn't buy it but I was thinking about making her a scrapbook, but having no babies myself, I don't know what type of topics I should cover! any help would be great!
Re: Baby scrapbook
The baby books I bought my kids had a "current events" section in it - like the price of gas, milk, avg. car, avg price of a house, etc. and world leaders, headlines that made the news on the day the baby was born, popular movies/books/songs, fashion trends...Stuff that tells what NOW is like (so when they get older, they can laugh at us, I guess).
It also has a section about me & about my DH. Where I went to school, my hobbies, family traditions.
One of the things I like most about my baby book is that there is a page for every month during the first year of baby's life where you can put a picture, write about firsts, talk about cute things the baby did, words s/he may have said, sleep patterns, eating patterns.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you need anymore help and I'll bust out the baby books and look through them for more topics!
