poor DH!
My poor husband! He did an awesome job getting the bulkhead out and starting to frame up the empty space for the new cabinets. Then, yesterday evening, a major clog developed in our bathroom sink/shower. So now we have no sink or shower and Matt's been trying to fix the bathroom while working on the kitchen. I'd like to help but given the bending requirements and the fact that I was in pain yesterday from cleaning the bathroom, I can't do much.
Luckily, one our maintenance guys is willing to come over later today to work on the clog so Matt can focus on the kitchen alone. I think I'll be making both of them cookies or brownies tomorrow night!
Re: poor DH!
My heart goes out to poor Matt! Wayne and I just finished *finally* getting the garage door adjusted and working and it is hotter than Hades out there! If we had had one more setback, we probably wouldn't be talking for the rest of the day.
I hope the maintenance guy can fix the clog quickly and let Matt focus on the framing! I can't wait to see before and after photos!
Yeah, I'm close to calling a friend to see if I can use her shower. We can use the fitness center showers but they only have freezing cold water. However, since I posted this, we've developed a leak in another building and since Matt is condo board president, he and our maintenance guy have to take care of that problem first. Grrr.
