Infantsee
Has anyone used the Infantsee program? What did you think and what doctor did you see? We are considering taking Davan to see one of the Infantsee doctor's but didn't know what to expect. We are a little worried about her vision simply because we both have glasses.

We took Sophia at just over six months old because DH's family has horrible eyesight as well as strabismus so we wanted to be proactive in checking it out. We went to Dr Lock at Jordan Creek and now all see him. The exam for Sophia at that age was pretty simple. Just getting her to follow objects with her eyes and examining them with a pen light. His number is 267-1312 and I'd definitely recommend him. He has kids of his own so he's really good with them.
We took Maddie at about 10 or 11 months (it has to be done before their 1st birthday) to Ankeny Family Vision Center. We saw Dr Mandy Mataya-Pietig, who is a client of mine. She did a great job! It was easy and Maddie didn't have a problem with any of it. DH and I both wear glasses too and we wanted to make sure that Maddie was on the right track. It's a totally free program and I highly suggest it.

They both sound wonderful but the one in Ankeny sounds even better since I live in Altoona. In fact just going through the names I had saw Dr. Mandy's name and thought I might try her. Davan just turned 10 months so I hope I can get her in soon.
I am guessing I just call and make an appointment and let them know I am wanting to do the Infantsee progoram so they know not to charge me?
