Fray Check?

I just got done with my first project. (Baby blanket). Didn't think about fraying until it came out of the dryer. So I bought fray check. It says its washable and dry cleanable. But is it DRYER safe as well? I'm asking because usually products will say washer and dryer safe on them.

Re: Fray Check?

  • Yes, it's washable and I dry the things I've used it on in the dryer fine- but, fray check dries HARD. Where is the fraying- how much fabric are we talking about treating?
  • Not a lot. I crocheted the blanket and just the spots where I hid the yarn tails/weaved them in some spots started to fray. There is only 4 or 5 spots, nothing big.
  • Oh, And thanks so much for the reply! I ran it through the wash and dryer on extra low heat. Stuff works like a charm!
