Any tattoo'ed nesties?

I'm looking to get my first tattoo and while I have been researching extensively, was just curious if anyone on this board had a recommendation. TIA

ETA: Seeking a great shop or artist. I already know what design I want.

I have one and got it done at Deluxe Tattoo, by Zach. I'm very pleased and I'd see him again.

I don't have any but DH got his last one from Tattoo Factory on Broadway & Montrose. He really liked the work there.

Chicago Tattoo Company on Belmont (right next to the red line Belmont el stop) was VERY clean, nice, professional, etc. It looked like a doctor's office for tattoos. My friends got tattoos there and loved it.

I completely reccomend Scott Fricke from Speakeasy Custom Tattoo.  It is by appointment only and is located on North Ave by Milwaukee and Damen.  He did a hip piece for me...it was a cover up and he designed it and did the work in two sessions.  He was awesome.  I have 7 tatts and since going to him I won't go anywhere else. :-)

I've gone to Family Tattoo on Belmont and they are fabulous guys!

Try looking in Indiana.  It's way cheaper.  I got 2 of my tats at Culture Shock in Valparaiso Indiana and paid a fraction of what it would have cost me to get them done in IL.  Plus, that place was the cleanest I have ever been to hands down.  Also, stay away from Pores of Color in Frankfurt, IL they are way over priced!
