Wedding Withdrawal?

I'm sitting here today with nothing to do since the wedding is over...I'm feeling kind of worthless haha Do most new wives go through a withdrawal period? Does it last long?

It's definitely normal. I went through the same thing. Puck up a new hobby, read a book, or plan a fun outing for you and DH ;0)

I am SOO going through withdrawal! I have been throwing myself into planning my sisters baby shower, which is in 2 weeks. I am also looking into a serious career change and have been spending a lot of time and effort diving into research on programs and job openings! I think starting the book club book will be good too, you should join us in reading it!

Welcome to the club.  You get back and once the laundry is done it's like what now?  I'm still trying to figure out what project to start on next.  One day I want a sewing machine the next it's something else.  I think I'll have to wait a little while longer since I just got a kindle yesterday.  

 

Maybe we should start a hobbies thread where we could all do random projects.  This could totally be a good idea.

I'm def doing book club. I just bought the book today.

I was looking forward to coming home and nesting...But since we have no furniture I can't really decorate. I could work on my blog I guess.

I feel like it's worse for me right now too since I'm off work for summer. I have even less to worry about lol DH did tell me he'd fund my catering idea so maybe I can just throw myself into that for a bit...in addition to laundry :-)

 I like the idea of a hobby thread. Might be nice to share and see what everyone is doing.

The inside or outside? haha I kind of like to paint. Is that really odd?

I want to start a small dessert catering business. I'm hoping I could cater bridal showers, baby showers and some other small events. One day I'd love to own a shop and have room to make wedding cakes but I have to start small. DH is also in the process of opening a restaurant so it's going to be crazy around here.

I don't really have any hobbies other than working out, which I don't think is really a hobby. Does beach-going count as a hobby? I love to bake as well but I always just give the food away so I won't eat it and that makes me sad, haha.

I have found myself reading a lot, I am already half way through our book club book...I am also trying to occupy my time with planning house hold projects and trying to convince DH that we should move forward with our plans...no success yet. 

I like the idea of a thread on hobbies.

Last week was very hard for me. I found myself crying and looking at wedding pictures over and over again. I hope things get better soon because going through withdrawal is no fun at all.
