No, I didn't unload it myself. Stanny's J was nice enough to come over and bring it in the house for me. Its gonna stay sitting in the living room until A comes back home.
Glad you're feeling better! I kept an ice pack on my belly constantly for the first few days when I had mine out in January. Take it easy momma
He's so sweet! Bringing me flowers at the hospital, unloading your furniture... Must be a softie since he's an air winger.
I was going to do that since a nurse suggested it, but then I had a vision of the ice pack getting stuck to the incision like the tongue on a Christmas Story. I know it'll never happen especially if I wrap it, but I just can't shake the thought!
Tsk, tsk! Follow the hospital's orders. Ice it up I'm sure it'll help combat the swelling.
That would really suck. I used the ice pack from the hospital that wrapped all the way around my belly so I could have it on even when I was walking around.

There is this local hole-in-the-wall place around the corner from my condo that has the best NY style pizza (well- the best for not being anywhere near NYC). Pepperoni, extra cheese and light sauce. Perfection.
I keep telling myself if I continue to eat right and work out I'll get some on Wednesday.

Hi! I'm late to the party it seems like your all gone now
I'm debating ordering pizza just because I'm boycotting cooking tonight. We went to Sutter's Fort today which was fun until my car died
and then we got lunch at this cute little cafe in Midtown that had the BEST grilled eggplant sandwich. The other half is hiding in the fridge for lunch tomorrow. My car trouble turned out to be something totally minor and an easy fix. We came home and I napped and we played in the yard with Simon. Its so fun, he hasn't figured out the "bring it back" part of fetch yet so he will get the ball and run past you and sit all cute like.
I'm here. I'm in Debbie Downer mode so I'm keeping to myself.
Do the ice Lace if you're not already. I remember it made my dad feel a lot better when he had his out(as well as camping out on my couch and feeding him).
