Did you put the picture from your parents in Emily's nursery?
So what are your pain management options for labor and delivery? I believe you said your hospital doesn't do epidurals.
Oh, one last question. What does the winner get??? (The person who guesses Emily's height and weight.)
Lol.
Re: Ali - two questions
Haha! The winner gets a big pat on the back!
We did put the picture up and it actually doesn't look that bad. It's in my FB photos in the baby album if you want to see.
As far as pain meds, I can have IV meds for most of the time. Then when you would get a traditional epidural, I can have an intrathecal. It's basically the same thing except there's no IV that stays in my back - it's a one time shot deal. It lasts a few hours though, and I will still be able to walk around. If it starts to wear off before I start pushing then I can have another one. My doctor says that it numbs you from the waist down, but so that I can still feel when to push, etc.
I'm a little nervous about it, so I just hope it works!
The Sand in My Snow Boots
Oh that's good. I'm sure it would help or they wouldn't do it.
Off to check FB for photos...
