I am due for my yearly evaluation. It?s typically sometime in July and in the past my boss has just stopped by my office and asked that I come in to his office for a quick chat, and it ends up being a review.
This year I want to be prepared. I am considering sending my bosses an email requesting a time to sit down for my review and listing what I would like to discuss. 1) my performance 2) where they see my being able to grow within the company (small company) 3. A pay increase.
I was also considering adding toward the end of the email what I think I?ve done well this year, the new tasks I?ve taken on, the successful projects I?ve completed.
Would this be appropriate? Or am I approaching this the wrong way. Should I just request a time to sit down and meet and bring the things listed above with me to discuss?
TIA
