I've been mostly doing
Zumba and walking. Well, the studio I've been taking Zumba at now
offers a ton of different classes for August. My primary goal is weight
loss and I still have a ton to go...I think I can afford 4 classes a
week...So I'm thinking 4 cardio based classes -- which are longer ie.
more calories burned/overall fitness would be my best choice....if you
were me WWYD with this schedule for August:

Stroller Pushing,Doctor Respecting, Full Time Daycare Paying, Alone Time Appreciating,Boundary Setting Momma
Jenny McCarthy = Former Playmate and MTV host
Pediatrician = Doctor with extensive experience and education on children.
Bumpies = Don't get me started!
I know who I get my health advice from!
What are you looking at?

Re: XP WWYD
I would try the cardio kick party. I love kickboxing! It's a great cardio workout!
I don't see too many classes that seem to use weights, but adding strength training in will help with weight loss. It looks like there's a kettleball class coming in September. I've never used one, but they're supposed to be good to work out with (they intimidate me a bit just b/c I'm not quite sure what to do with them but I'm guessing that's why there's a class.)
Not sure what "butts and guts" is, but I'm assuming it would focus on those two areas? I would choose that, the cardio kick party, zumba, and the dance your ass off class.
Ditto what Wendy said about adding in strength training. Muscle burns more calories than fat and mixing in strength training with your cardio will help you build muscle mass faster, thus speeding up your weight loss.

I would do a day of zumba, a day of dance youre a$$ off, a day of butts and guts, and a day of cardio kick party.
Those sound like fun and I wish this gym was by me so I could go!
Step for sure. Your calves will hurt like hell after the first time, so just expect it. Butts and Guts for sure. Kick-n-Step sounds fun.
Ditto what others said about strength training. Every step class I've ever taken has had a segment of toning with light weights so maybe you'll get a little bit in these other classes. I would also suggest a Pilates class, but I don't see one on that schedule. It's excellent for core strength.
Am I the only person who hates Zumba? I just really hate it. Maybe it's just the instructors I've had.
