If you went to Red Carpet Day while your SO was in UPT, can you tell me about what you did there?
I plan on leaving DS at the CDC during it because the invitation made it sound like kids weren't really welcome. He'll need to eat probably once during the event and I'm wondering if I would be able to duck out for ~30 mins, run to the CDC and feed him, and come back - or if I should send him with a bottle and duck out to pump.
I e-mailed the event coordinator to get a better idea of the schedule, but I haven't heard back from her yet.
Re: SOs of Pilots (BR)
I think so. Good to know there's a fair bit of downtime. Thanks
Like Brandi was saying, it will really depend on the schedule of events.
H's T-6 Red Carpet went like this:
Breakfast in the flight room with a mock standup presentation/weather brief and then mingling to talk with IPs, classmates, etc.
A ride out to the tower where students do spotting/recording duties (this was optional).
A T-6 sim which H had to schedule beforehand.
And then a visit out to static displays, but those were out all day, so that was an at your leisure type of thing.
We finished with everything by about 1 p.m., and that was with a lot of standing around and dilly-dallying because that's how H's family is. The whole thing was pretty lax and family-friendly, so if your day is anything like this, you shouldn't have a problem either leaving for a bit or ducking out to pump.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Not a problem
Haha well it wasn't the big control tower, just a dinky little thing that only really fit 3-4 people comfortably, but interesting nonetheless. I would've loved to see the big one too though!
