Baby names, always a favorite subject...

I like Leland.  I don't know anyone named this, and usually associate it with being a last name, but I think it sounds nice as a first name.

The in-laws named all of their kids very English/Irish family names, Andy's middle name (Kennedy) is his grandmother's maiden name and then his brothers are Graham, Lenon and Leo.

That's another thing I like about Leland.  If we were to have another kid and it was a boy, I kind of want to stick with the whole "surname as a first name" theme that we started with T.

  • Okay, I'm super late coming into this but Leland was DH's grandfather's name.  We are using it as a middle name for this baby if it is a boy.  It also has significant meaning to us because we love the city of Leland near Traverse City.

Very cool, we love the town of Leland as well.  ;)
