..put in your greek yogurt? I've been doing blueberries and granola but ran out yesterday and the only thing I had were some craisins, which turned out to be delicious. So I'm curious what delicious combos the rest of you put in your yogurt.
Re: What do you ...
It's great with just plain honey.
I'll also eat it with whatever berries I have on hand, bananas, peaches (canned/jarred, if I don't have fresh), or other fruits.
the possibilities are endless:
granola
honey (from the farmer's market)
strawberries
raspberries
blackberries
cut up mango
cut up pineapple (I get the frozen tidbits from Trader Joe's and put it in...like a frozen treat)
chocolate chips
Peaches
bananas and shredded coconut...unique for sure
Package of hot chocolate mix
sugar and vanilla
Berries
Mangoes - the frozen ones at TJ's are really good in this
cottage cheese - very filling combined

Raspberries, blueberries, kashi go lean! I also love to mix in a little jam. My MIL makes a homemade apricot pineapple jam that is really great in it. Costco also carries this jam called Cherries n' Berries and it's VERY low sugar and no HFCS or anything. It's really awesome stuff. Mixes in great with cereal and yogurt and berries.
Another good option is the canned pumpkin + brown sugar + pumpkin pie spice that Angela came up with. I did that with Kashi a TON last Fall for all the added benefits of the pumpkin. Mmmm...
Honey is traditional and I like it. Pretty much any fresh fruit I have in the house works for me. If you don't have granola, you can just put some regular cereal in there too.
I also eat Greek yogurt as a savory spread - like on toast with tomato/avocado, salt and pepper, or on a baked potato in place of sour cream. It's similar in flavor and consistency to a spreadable "cheese"/dairy product I grew up eating.
