when to plant?
please help a black thumb here...
i'm planning on starting a veggie garden the end of this summer with some lettuces and things that are cool weather plants i guess, to get some practice and then really jump into it next spring. from what i know so far, im in zone 6, or 6b with the earliest frost at october 15th. when you count back the recommended days, is that when you plant? or does it need to be earlier? FYI i plan on using seeds. i just dont want to wait to long and miss my opportunity. sorry if that doesnt make sense. tia!
