Anyone been to the "Big House" (U of M stadium)?
DH B-day is coming up and I thought I would get him tickets..I have a chance to get him inzone tickets. Just wondering if they are decent seats.And I also heard that they aren't really seats...more like benches...Is this true??

Yes! Only small tight spaces on benches. And it is awesome!
I love the atmosphere, the band is amazing! The drum major comes in at the beginning in a spectacular way. Really - it is so much fun even if you aren't into football. There is nothing like a game at the Big House.
I've been to a few games. A couple with my grandparents and 1 with friends where I got into the student section.
And this die-hard State fan can tell you, it is AWESOME! I feel bad that I haven't gotten to Spartan stadium. But I digress.
Depending on the section, you may not sit down much. The students don't sit. When I was with my grandparents we were at the south end zone and we did sit. I don't remember it being a tight squeeze for sitting room.

Cool! This was a BIG help thanks!!!!!! I like college football, but not pro. DH is a die hard UofM fan. He actually was to go there...then other circumstances came up and that dream didn't happen. I can't wait to give him the tickets...lets just hope I can keep my mouth shut for three weeks!!
He is a bigger guy...and I hated to do this..but I bought three tickets for the two of us. I had heard that the seating was tight...but I didn't know after the remodel is the seating changed.
