Nothing.  They weren't very helpful, gave me an IV, checked my blood and refused to give me a blood PG test (why? i couldn't tell ya) but they were adamant that they couldn't. 

Anyway,  here I am going on 15 DPO with tons of cramping and no answers.  COMMON!

Thanks SO much for the thoughts and prayers...at least it is NOT something bad!

 

edit:  They gave me a urine, not a blood.

WTF, they wouldn't give you are pregnancy test!?! Isn't that standard procedure when you miss your period,are having crazy cramps and end up in the ER!! I am so very sorry that you are going through this!! If AF doesn't show up in the next couple of days I would call the doctor and get in to get a blood pregnancy test and see what the heck is going on. I hope you get some answers and feel better.

What?! That's crazy. I guess the good news is nothing is obviously wrong. Can you call your GYN about getting a blood test done today or tomorrow? I would think in this case they would try to squeeze you in. Keep us posted and I hope you get some answers and start to feel better soon!

That is so weird, I went to the ER a few months ago for a eye problem, yeah, a problem with my eyes, and the gave me a pregnancy test.  I cant imagine their reasoning for not giving you one.  I am glad to hear that they did not find anythign bad though, that is good news.  Hope it all turns out well!

I'm sorry you don't have any more answers this morning! I would call your regular OB and get them to see you right away. I can't believe the hospital didn't give you a PG test. When I was in the hospital for what ended up being kidney stones they did a PG test first then ultrasounds and and MRI. So I'm surprised they didn't allow for any other diagnostic testing. I hope you are doing ok and that calling your doctor gets you some answers!!!

That is SO messed up! Hopefully you can get to your Dr. and they will give you a blood test. Thank goodness it's nothing serious!

That's BS!!!  You need to go to a different facility or call your OB/GYN and let them know you want to have a blood test schedule for a PG test.  I can't believe that.....

I am so glad it is nothing serious, but am so sorry that you still don't have answers. I hope the painful cramps will go away soon and your regular dr. can give you a blood test to give you some sort of answer.

The doctor who came in told me that they couldnt give me a PG blood test because he said the urine would pick something up...and if it did then they give me a blood.  But don't some people not get + in urine?!!!!  He said insurance wouldn't cover both...UMM...I'll pay for the dipstick test how much could THAT have been?

He also didn't want to run any CAT scans or anything because of the fear that I "may" be pregnant.  So they gave me a "PG" safe muscle relaxer for the cramps and some nausea meds in case I need them....

And once again for the 1500000 time, I feel like AF is coming.

I'm confused. They wouldn't give you a definitive (aka blood) pg test, but they wouldn't do other tests in case you were pg?

I hate this doctor. Hope you get answers from a DECENT dr soon!

What a bunch of BS!!!!  I would be calling your regular dr and trying to get in ASAP.  Hopefully they will do a blood test and figure out what is going on.

Wow!  Glad you're ok...I would go to my PCP or OBGYN for a follow up.  If it was that painful that it sent you to the ER.  I pray you get your BFP!  I hope the cramps go away!

What the hellz? That is one of the most asinine things I've ever heard! So if the insurance would pay for 1 & not both why wouldn't he give you a blood test & not a urine test. His own reasoning is contradictory to his actions. BLAH!

Like pp just call your regular doctor & see how quickly they can work you in. I'm sure if you explain the situation then you should get in today.

I'm glad nothing major is wrong & I'm still holding out hope for a BFP.

Glad to hear this is nothing serious, but sorry to hear that they are treating you so poorly.  Like the other girls said, go to your normal Dr. for advice on this one.
