Humana?

Does anyone have Humana? We are changing our insurance from United to Humana and I'm not familiar with them at all. Really not looking forward to changing our plans this far along in the pregnancy but what can I do?!

Re: Humana?

  • I have Humana for DD.  It's okay.  Doesn't cover as much as I'd like, but I think that's the plan I chose.  IMO, they're all the same.

  • I have Humana. It is the provider for Hills County School employees. I agree, its just ok I guess. But I don't have a child and am not pregnant so I'm not sure how it is for that. I have a good selection of dr.s stuff so I'm pretty happy with it.
  • All I know about it is their hearing aid benefit forces you to go to HearX, which sucks.....but that is useless for you:)

  • Humana is not bad. Just make sure that your doctor also takes Humana. Then let the office know that you are switching carriers and that they  should start billing everything to Humana as of 'x' date- this way you dont have to submit any claims. it's a headache.
