Do any of you wear nylons?
I know nylons are almost dead in my part of the world but do any of you wear nylons and have a brand/style you'd reccommend? I am too cold in my office to wear skirts and dresses without something on my legs and I've just been wearing pants since it seems silly to be wearing dark tights in July. I've bought the same kind of nylons for FOREVER and they're not available in the store anymore and I can't find them online. I bought a pair from Kohl's and they felt SO GROSS and were sagging around my ankles by the end of the day. If you have any reccommendations, please pass them on!
Re: Do any of you wear nylons?
I do, almost every day to work. My office is also super cold, but I think it helps my feet to not stink. I wear them every day I wear close-toed dress shoes.
I refuse to wear the big long ones, I just wear knee-highs. I have also learned that department stores charge a TON for nylons. I found some once that were like $10 for 2 pairs. I get mine at the grocery store - last time it was like $8.99 for 10 pairs. I wash them in one of those lingerie bags so they don't get torn and they seem to last a long time. I think the brand was No Nonsense, but honestly, I'll just get whatever I see at the grocery store.
I mainly wear tights, but technically I'm supposed to wear pantyhose year round for my job! In the summer I think people just look the other way/realize the rules are outdated
.
In the winter, I usually just get L'eggs or no nonsense...whatever they sell at grocery stores/drug stores. Cheap but decent quality, usually.
