Actually, I don't think you need someone to send you an invite to set up an account. I just went to pinterest.com and clicked on "request an invite".

It's a little like facebook that you can view other peoples' board. That requires an invite, I think.

If someone sends you an invite it's much quicker than waiting for a request for one to go through....
I've really been enjoying it - you set up "boards" and then pin links/pics (or repin from others). You can use it for recipes, party ideas, home decor ideas, projects, various tips (makeup application, hairstyles, etc).....the list goes on. And you can see sort of a "feed" of the latest things everyone on pinterest has been pinning, and then pin those that interest you.

I am obsessed with pinterest. I have been pinning things for days.
I keep finding cool ideas for my house. So, I have been on the look out for a hutch that I can paint for my kitchen. It is addicting!
