Brainstorming Our New Nestie Name

Hey girls, we need to brainstorm up our new nestie name so that Alicia can propose it while trying to get us our own board.  I copied what she said from the other post to help us brainstorm a name.

"Ladies, it may be helpful if you could possibly brainstorm a name for the new board that would be in line with the Nest's newlywed/married "theme." While TK had the DW board for those planning their destination weddings, over here on TN, you're already married. It's arguable that the Travel board here is viewed by the admins as being comparable to DW, just a guess on my part. The themes of these boards drop the planning aspect. If you can find a niche that isn't filled already on TN, they might be more likely to create it for you."

I'm assuming our board would end up on this because we wouldn't be a local board or Ann board.

 The purpose of the anniversary board is to keep up with your friends from your month board. Well for me at least, I didn't post on my month board. I posted on the DW board. So it makes sense to allow is a common board to reconnect on.

I just saw that and was about to add it in this.  I do like that idea and feel that it would be appropriate.  Issue is that they don't even have any 2011 ann's on there yet.

Hmm that's weird...I wonder if they don't offer new ones anymore?

I think an anniversary board would be a good place.  We don't really need a "theme" board but an anni board would be great.

I've asked Alicia to forward our request of having an ann board!  Should we try to come up with a back up plan?

Well I think if TN won't give the DW's a board we either stay on AK or we make a private board.  My thought is if we aren't good enough or important enough then we can leave.  I'm also jaded and bitter.

The June girls are anxious for their anniversary board.  Someone said it would be a few months before they get one though, so maybe they wait until all of 2011 is over?

 I doubt they'll make an anniversary board for DW.  It's been asked for multiple times. They might surprise us though.  If not, we should totally riot.

Hmmm...how does one riot on a public forum?? Originally I was thinking we could just pick a lot of boards and take over like crazy but 1) we don't have enough people and 2) we all have jobs.

Maybe we could do a petition?  You know get all the DW's to sign it?  Would that work?

Wow I sure did miss alot today.  I think the anniversary board is a great idea.  It's pretty dumb TN has never given us DW'ers a place to call "home" after our weddings.

I feel kind of mean trying to keep the board with the same girls from the DW, but I'm cool with staying here in our little niche!  I'm Alaskan, and seriously girls - there is NO action on the Alaska boards on TK, so it's not like we're screwing other Alaskans out of a place to post.  Alaskans (besides me) apparently don't use TK....
