Where do you buy furniture?
Since we are buying a house we are hoping to have enough money to buy a couch and maybe a few other furniture items. I was hoping to get some more info on the local stores since we are on a tight budget.
Where around lexington have you bought furniture?
How much did it cost?
How did they treat you?
What is the quality of the furniture.

A good portion of ours has come from Value City. We prefer the store in Hamburg (it's newer and prettier), but we've had success at the Nicholasville Rd. location.
It pains me to say this, but I also recommend Wal-Mart's Canopy line. Our entire bedroom set is from there and you'd never guess it's Wal-Mart. We also recently ordered a secretary desk and love that as well. Most things can be shipped to a store for free (just be sure you'll be able to get it home) and the return policy is the same as anything else--i.e. they'll take anything back.
