Your pups are so cute! What breeds are they? I have little toy dogs since I live in the city but I love big dogs.
Re: *hstaples*
Thanks!
Two of them are bloodhounds, the black and tan is Penelope and the red one is Ellie Mae then we have Coma who is a heeler mix. They're pretty good dogs for the most part except Coma has this trash issue we have to deal with, every time we leave the house all rooms with a trash can in it have to have the door shut and and the kitchen trash has to go to the deck cause he's able to knock it off the counter.
What kind are your dogs? I love the look of little breeds but some of them have pretty cranky personalities. I worked for a couple different vet clinics for a total of 8 years and the only dogs I was ever bit by were small dogs That's one thing I love about the bloodhounds they are so laid back!
I love the names! My family is originally from the hills of Kentucky so I know all about hound dogs. Bloodhounds do have such nice personalities.
The trash problem sucks! I had a Yorkie/Silkie mix who was about 15 lbs, pretty big for what I normally had, and he always dumped the trash too. He was a rescue who had been starved so the vet thought he had a panic when we left and went looking for food. He eventually grew out of it but we had lots of garbage can hiding days!
I have 2 Yorkies now. Both from the rescue. My Bug is 3 and he came from an elderly couple who thought a small dog meant less work. They just couldn't handle his energy. He's a really sweet dog but does throw a tantrum now and then. He literally will stand and stomp his feet when he doesn't get his way. BooBoo is 5 and she has a lot of baggage. She came from an Amish puppy mill and was soooo thin and timid when we got her. A lot of things, beyond just being outside of a cage, were so new for her since the Amish don't have modern conveniences. She's still very shy but she's been here a year and is progressing into a loving little girl.
Sorry if the picture shows up huge! BooBoo is up top and Bug is below
