i changed pediatricians. i was not unhappy with the ones we had in rockland, but i just didn't love them and i didn't think they shared some of my concerns regarding the baby.
i decided to return to the practice we used in NJ. it's worth the 30 min drive for a practice where i am comfortable with all doctors and staff. i just love them.
i called the nj one to confirm they received our records, and then called the rockland one to cancel the well visits that were scheduled for next week.
for the THIRD time, they could not locate our appointment. that's right, two other scheduled appointment times I showed up and was not in the system. I'd show them the appt card they gave me and they'd squeeze us in. when it happened at the baby's very first appointment when she was a week old, i should have taken that as a bigger red flag but i gave them the benefit of the doubt. and then it happened again. and i guess it would have happened next friday too.
i was so hesitant to make the switch because it is quite a distance. i've asked neighbors and local friends and couldn't find another practice that would work for us for a zillion reasons....
cannot wait to see our old doc next week instead!
Re: feeling confident in my decision!
Hello. I've waited here for you. Everlong<3<br>
Good. I did not like them either. Dr. Triggs was nice but missed Drew's allergy completely. Lerch was just an aszhole.
You will be MUCH happier.
