Man Cave...Whomp Whomp...

DH set his up finally last night!!!  It's cool because I can send him there when he's being bad   Haha, just kidding.  Apparently that is "his" room and my room is the rest of the house.  Not a bad deal, I guess.  So I helped him set it up last night and dusted everything off.  Isn't it funny how they need our help with everything? Maybe he's just wanting to spend time with me so he figures if I'm helping, I'm there.  So now he has a couch rocker recliner in there, his kegerator, coffee table, flat screen, all our dvd's and most importantly, his PS3.  He's going to decorate with his sports memorabilia and will put up the Giants jersey when his friend Pablo is in town to sign it for him.  He's like a kid at xmas

Anyone else's DH/FI have a man cave?

Sounds like a bad deal, right? Wrong! 

The garage is as big as the first floor of the house. Haha! There's enough room for our two cars, the motorcycle and still a ton more stuff, even probably a TV and table & chairs.  Honestly, we could probably fit a few more motorcycles, but I'm  not going to draw attention to that fact.

 I get the same deal as you, I get the rest of the house Well, sort of. Haha! We have had to compromise on how the computer room gets set up but I pretty much have control over the rest

When we were house hunting in 2008 it was on our required list. Like 3 bed, 2 bath, and must have man cave. Haha. Half our basement is finished off and that is where his cave is. As you enter the staircase there is not one but TWO signs that say man cave. You know, in case you are confused as to where you are. he has a flat screen, his xbox, the wii, and a wet bar with mini fridge for beers. The unfinished side is also an extension since our entire basement is racks of fishing poles, a workbench where he makes his fishing poles, then walls of tools and spearfishing equipment. Man Town USA I like to call it.

I love that you can give him time-outs now. haha.  We live in a townhouse, so DH will have to wait a little longer for his.

Love it! We live in a condo so no man cave for us.   Dh has a "man room," his mom came up with the name and it has stuck.  He's got it decorated like he likes it, but never goes in there since the big TV and his PS3 are in the living room.  It's really just the catch all room now, and in 3-4 years it will hopefully be a nursery if we are still here, which we plan to be.

Haha, this is fabulous and out of control at the same time   I suppose you probalby have an entire room dedicated to Lily though!  ABC Distributing has an ice bucket and pilsner glasses that have man cave on them.  I think I'm going to get it for a stocking stuff for DH.

I love that all our guys think they need this space to keep their manhood.  I should have said, you get your man cave and I get floral prints all over the house, haha!!

Man Town is why I get to have a pink and green bathroom and why the office is tiffany blue:) I don't really like hanging out in the basement anyways. Also I will be purchasing those cups when I get home, thank you for jump starting my christmas shopping!!
