Thank you notes

I got my thank you postcards in the mail!!  Here's the link to the DW that has pictures, click here.

My question is that how should I have my signature on it?  Do I put Sarah and DH Last Name or DH and Sarah Last Name?  Does it matter who is writing it? Ex, me writing would be the first one and if DH is writing it, it would be the second one?

Am I over thinking this? haha

I signed all of ours just as "Mike and Michaela" with no last name. I always put his first when signing cards, although I don't know why exactly. 

You may be over thinking it, haha.

Ryan and I were debating the very same thing.  I usually put my name first because I think that sounds better, but for some of our couple friends I put the man's name first because THAT sounds better.  I think it depends on the names.

For our thank yous, if I wrote it I put mine first.  If he wrote it, he put his first.  I made him do his family and I did mine.

Well, I ended up doing all of my thank yous, and signed them with his name first, and then mine. I don't think I used our last name in the signature. There was NO way I was going to let my DH write out any of the TYs. I wanted my guests to be able to *read* the card! 

Even now, when I sign a card, I almost always sign it: DH, me, DD & DS

Occasionally, I'll start signing a card with "The Lastnames" and then write all our first names underneath.

Hahaha! I can totally relate to this. I addressed all of our invites and FI stuffed them because they would never get to the people if he addressed them. I'm really bad with backseat driving and (since we're both in video production) backseat editing and backseat photoshopping. Well, yesterday he was filling out the inspection paperwork and I was like "jeeze, I should be filling this out, this is illegible. Babe, you should write bigger, it's so hard to read," and he said "what, are you a backseat writer now too?" LOL oops.

I also didn't let DH write out any of the notes since he has such horrible hand writing. He stuffed them, applied the address labels and return labels and stamps, and sealed them.
