What is everyone doing with their dresses? I am having mine cleaned as we speak but I can't decide what to do with it afterward. I am thinking maybe I will try and sell it, but I am very short and I wore flats so it would have to be sold to someone short. It won't work as a short dress and we don't plan on baptizing our children so won't make those out of it. I think it might be better to sell it than let it sit in the closet for the next 20 years? Does anyone have any other ideas? What are you doing with your dress?

Re: Wedding Dresses?
I'm cutting mine to be a cocktail dress and wear on our 1 yr ann.
There's a website that you pick the style of dress you want and the color and they make your wedding dress into the new dress that you've picked out. I think your dress could be a cute little a-line sunday dress for brunches, etc.

I got mine back from being cleaned yesterday and stuffed it in the closet. I know my kids won't ever want to wear it so I'm not saving it for that, but I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of it/sell it. I don't really think it can be cut shorter due to the drop waist and the bodice is pretty beaded for any other purpose. Maybe it will be part of a baby blanket or veil some day.
A coworker got hers out every year for their anniversary and tried it on, until she had her babies and it wouldn't fit any more.

You could post a link! Geez Sarah! HAHA! I thought about cutting mine off but who knows what I will do with it. Probably nothing. I'm not going to pay to have it cleaned so.

Kelly, I was thinking the same thing as I am too lazy to google it myself.
Amanda- have you shared any pics yet? If so, I missed them!

Um Yeah where are the pics lady!!
Thanks for the ideas, while I like the idea on cutting it down I don't know that I would actually wear it that way. Hmm maybe when I see the link and what they have done with other dresses it will change my mind.
