Hey y'all!
My husband and I have been married to almost 3 years and he is AD AF for about the same amount of time. I teach secondary science and coach girls track. We don't have any kids but we do have a husky that is pretty spoiled for a dog!
Long story kinda short, we have been at Hill for 2.5 years and we just found out that H is on the VML. We were planning on extending here for another year because we love the skiing and hiking (and I have a secure job), but he only found out he was on the list less than a week before paperwork has to be in to keep us here. And he is deploying very shortly so we would be moving not long after he returned. He is working on trying to get an extension, but in the case that he can't we are looking at the base options for moving. His career field has some limit to bases, so we were looking at Hanscom. We don't get to choose, but he does get a wish list and there is some chance he will get his choice. Has anyone every been there are have any positives/negatives? Also, I know it is a long shot, but does anyone have any advice about teaching credentials for Mass or NH? Anything you have is much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
