Do you see this person? Unless this is a person that you would see, I saw screw them. It doesn't matter what they name their kid. You name YOUR kid whatever you like. That's how Sue sees it. :-)

  •  My ex used "our" name for his first kid. Kind of annoyed me but sounds better with his last name.

I don't see him but bump into a lot of that crowd. I just don't want them to think I stole it from him or something stupid like I'm still attached to him.

I'm not asking you to tell me what it is, but is it a common name? If it's somewhat common you might be able to use it. If it's pretty unique I see your point.

It's really common, probably too common but I've loved it since I was a little girl. Sophie Grace, MIL was going to name her dog sophie but I begged her not too and now it's just ruined for me. lol. Oh well, it's not like we would have probably ended up using that one anyways. It was just on that "list" you make when you always have the talk...

  • eh, I wouldn't worry about it. Name your child what you want and you never know, you may have a boy first. We never had a name list and didn't decide on Lyra's till she was just about born. Middle name was decided I think on the way to the hospital.
