Need a tree/shrubs for front bed

I lost a spectacular Hoopsi blue spruce from the front corner of my house (a sort of boring brick colonial) last spring during the heavy rains- it just blew over. I need a tree of a more specimen variety to take over the space in my well established but rather generic front bed.

I have a Stewartia anchoring the bed on the other side of the house with some boxwood and knockout roses. The front beds has English laurel/Gold Mop Junipers, a couple accent knockouts, flowering perennials, a Jane magnolia and a large lace leaf dwarf maple. It's a rather large space, room for a tree and maybe some smaller shrubs. There are huge butterfly bushes visible from the stree along the side of the house as well. I'm thinking I have enough flowering stuff- any suggestions?
