Erik likes the new job so far -- he is using metro so he is barely putting 10 miles a week on his Jeep -- compared to 65 each day at his old job.
His new title is Director of Operations, he is directly under the President and CEO -- he has people report to him, which is a revised concept of his old job.
he is going to try to get his PMP certification which will increase his pay by 10% and the PMP certification can be used anywhere in the IT field.
only thing is right now we are without health insurance. my job offers it, but its not that great of a plan and it is very costly -- there is a 60 day waiting period for Erik to have coverage, so we are just hoping nothing goes wrong !

yeah - he was a PM for the DoD after college then made the move to the private sector at his last job ( the one thats based out of Waltham )
the new job allows time for the certification which is the biggest factor !
