TBM--table help!

I am pretty sure it was you who has recommended a sewing table before.  Now that I am craft room dreaming, I need something to sew on besides the dining room table :)  Can you remind me which table you like?

Re: TBM--table help!

  • I like to stand when I work and cut out stuff, so I have two of the folding cutting tables from JoAnn.   I can use a stool if I want to sit.

I bought them when they were on a really good sale, like 50 or 60% off.  I have one of the cutting mats, but I am not really a fan...it isn't self healing, but it does protect the surface nicely.  I have seen an ironing mat that fits the table somewhere.... I may look for that soon.

I find them easy to open or close and move out the way so they don't have to be out all of the time.   I haven't done it yet, but I plan to put latches underneath so that I can latch two tables together to make a huge table for when I sew something huge and don't want the weight pulling at it, or for pinning quilt layers.

  • Thank you :)
