Price for used a Rebel XSI EOS digital camera kit?
My friend is selling her barely used (less than 15 times) DSLR. It includes a 18-55mm lens, battery charger, strap, a filter lens, camera case, reflector. She only wants $475. Is this a good buy?

It's pretty good price - mostly because a lot of people don't sell the camera with the bag. You get everything you need (except a memory card?)

It's an older model camera so it's going on closeout soon (or in some cases already has). If you are a beginner and want to help out your friend - go for it. The XSi (I owned a XTi for 3.5 years) is a wonderful beginning camera, and that kit lens will go pretty far - some people love it forever! I sold my XTi with two lenses and more stuff for around the same price. It's worth the investment, and you get a decent amount off of whatever she paid for it, I'm sure.
